So it is still to warm really for Guinea pigs to be going outside during the day in the UK at the moment. They can begin to go into heat released distress and stroke at around 25 degrees C. Especially if the garden is a dry little Suntrap like mine. So my piggies stay in their shady, cool shed (with the fan on) during the height of the day. I’ve bought them a few new things to keep them entertained during their extended hutch time. Rummer in particular is impressed with her new hay rack.
